Education without sports is incomplete and ineffectual.During the formative years the emphasis should be Mainly on character building and intellectual such qualities as honesty , moral courage , fair-play, patriotism and a national outlook.
Education should be based on more on learning by doing sports and recreation, rather than on text books alone.Recognizing the adage that a ? Healthy mind live in a healthy body? proper attention is being paid to the physical development of students
Regular physical exercises, Yoga , Meditation & Games like Basketball , Football, Hockey, Table Tennis, Cricket , Badminton , Chess & Carrom board are the parts of sports as per Guidelines of CBSE Sports Administration and conducted as part of the school curriculum. Plans are afoot to introduce some of more modern ?Keep fit? alternatives like karate , Aerobics , Judo etc.
Education prepares the citizen of tomorrow and these future citizens must take up careers for which they have a flair. Most Students are unaware of the various career options available to them and stumble their way in life
Trying to discover what they are best at.Trained and experienced counselors help children in the process of selecting appropriate careers matching to them academic/performance , intereact and aspirations.
Professionals are also invited from various vocations and spheres of life. Students can therefore look at the future with confidence and a clarity of goals which forebodes well for the country. The CBSE has also introduced Information Technology , Fashion Technology and Physical Education as the subjects in senior Secondry level as a career oriented courses.
